Orion 2 Essential

Siemens Orion is part of the Essential level of Siemens technology. Available in both (RIC) Receiver in the Canal and (BTE) Behind The Ear styles. Both the RIC and BTE styles can accommodate mild to severe hearing losses. Orion combines smart technology with durability to provide a reliable listening experience. Pure Primax by Signia Siemens is a Receiver In the Canal (RIC) hearing aid. The Pure has consistently been our most popular best-selling model. The core Primax features are SpeechMaster, HD Music, TwinPhone and EchoShield. The Pure Primax is small and about 5mm longer than the tiny Ace Primax, but the Pure is feature rich and includes all the Primax features. It has a rechargeable option and Bluetooth capability. The free Signia Siemens TouchControl App for Android and Apple smart phones can be used to control your hearing aids. It is IP 67 rated, essentially making this hearing aid waterproof, sweat proof and dirt proof. The Pure Primax has a tinnitus therapy feature. Cellion Primax by Signia Siemens is a Receiver In the Canal (RIC) hearing aid that is a truly rechargeable. The user never has to worry about changing batteries. It is the world's first lithium-ion wireless inductive charging hearing aid. Cellion will last at least 24 continuous hours after a two to four hour charge. After a short 30 minute charge it will last for seven hours. There's no longer any reason to worry about having batteries on hand. The new case design of the Cellion Primax is IP 68 rated which means it is almost impervious to water, dust and debris. The size 13 rechargeable battery will provide the user with approximately 30% longer use than the size 312 rechargeable battery in the Pure Primax. The Signia Siemens Carat Primax includes all of the very successful Primax features. Using the touchControl app with your smart phone you can control the Primax features. With the touchControl app the user can control volume, the Spatial Configurator, SoundBalance, change programs and more. The easyTek a lightweight audio streamer and remote control quickly connects the Carat Primax hearing aids to Bluetooth-enabled devices. There is no need to worry about moisture, sweat, dust or dirt because the Carat Primax is IP 67 rated. The Pure 13 BT Primax connects directly with the iPhone and does not require a physical interface. A phone call, music or video sound will be sent directly to your Signia Siemens Pure 13 BT Primax hearing aids. You will hear the sound in high definition stereo. Using the Signia myControl app with the Pure 13 BT Primax the user can control the hearing aids. The app also monitors the wearer's environment and using the iPhone's motion sensors provides the best possible hearing when moving. Ace Primax

Signia Siemens Ace Primax is the smallest Receiver In the Canal (RIC) hearing aid available. It's design makes it nearly invisible and it's fitting range is appropriate for mild to severe hearing loss. The case of Ace Primax is only about 22 mm or .87 inches long. There is a trade-off for its small size. The Ace Primax does not have recharging capability, Bluetooth, e2e wireless or Twin Phone capability. It does include the new Primax features, SpeechMaster, HD Music and EchoShield. The Ace Primax can be controlled via a new touchControl App for Apple and Android devices. This App allows for volume and program changes and on/off function. This hearing aid is IP 67 rated, essentially making this hearing aid waterproof, sweat proof and dirt proof. The Ace can be immersed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without damage to the instrument. Ace Primax uses a standard size 10 battery. The pushbutton allows for an on-off function and program changes. It also has a tinnitus therapy feature. Signia Siemens Primax Technology Features

Primax features significantly reduced listening effort, which has benefits in the short-term and in the long-term. Speech recognition performance for those with hearing loss were equal to normal-hearing individuals. Primax has been clinically proven to allow the wearer to listen even more effortlessly than ever before.

Speech Master provides the user with the highest possible performance noise reduction, directionality and amplification. It's ultra high resolution eight microphone system with narrow directionality allows wearers to hear better than normal hearing in difficult listening environments.

HD Music has been specifically created to deliver outstanding music quality and fidelity. The HD Music program delivers a superb listing experience with a fuller richer sound and outstanding music realism.

Echo Shield recognizes reverberation and softens it so the wearer can hear clearly. Normally hearing aids amplify not only the direct speech, but also the echoes of bouncing off the walls and ceiling. These reflected signals reduce the overall sound quality. Echo Shield softens the reflected sound and provides for a better sound quality with reduced listening effort.

Twin Phone recognizes that your using the phone and wirelessly transmits the phone call to both ears, thus reducing effort and improving listening quality.

Waterproof the RIC and BTE models are IP 67 rated, essentially making this hearing aid waterproof, sweat proof and dirt proof. The hearing aids can be immersed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without damage to the instrument. The Cellion is IP 68 rated this means it can be immersed in 1 meter of water indefinitely.

Rechargeable the Primax Pure, Motion SX, Cellion and Pure Carat models are rechargeable hearing aids and they also include Bluetooth capability.

Tinnitus Therapyis included in each level of the Primax hearing instrument technology.

TeleCare is simplified remote patient care. Signia TeleCare allows us to adjust a patient's hearing aids without the patient being in our office. Whether the patient is at home or at work and just can't get to our office, or several thousand miles away, we can adjust the patient's hearing aids or assist with a problem. Tele-care provides for a quicker response and for greater flexibility, TeleCare is another advantage of Signia Siemens Primax technology.

Siemens Binax Technology

PLEASE NOTE: Siemens Binax technology was replaced by Primax technology in March 2016. Binax Technology is no longer available from Signia Siemens. Please see the PRIMAX tab above for more information.

Binax is faster, more efficient and has better speech clarity than Siemens prior platform Micon. Independent clinical studies have shown Binax to outperform normal hearing in difficult listening situations, like restaurants, cocktail parties, cars and in the wind. Binax includes these new features: Spatial Speech Focus, Narrow Directionality, Spatial Configurator, Binaural eWindscreen and e2e Wireless 3.0. The purpose of these new features is to improve clarity of speech in practically any situation. It also provides better spatial awareness by sharing sound wirelessly between both hearing aids. We have been fitting Binax since early October 2014 and our patients have been extremely happy with its performance. It has also reduced follow-up visits even more than the standard set by Siemens Micon technology. The RIC and BTE models are IP 67 rated, essentially making this hearing aid waterproof, sweat proof and dirt proof. The hearing aids can be immersed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without damage to the instrument. Binax was replaced in March 2016 by the Primax technology platform, see the Primax tab above.
